Terms & Conditions
- The current amount available is €1,000 to 5 successful applicants across 3 categories.
Category 1: 2 Bursaries of €1,000 each to applicants registered to 3rd level education post and undergraduate.
Category 2: 2 Bursaries of €1,000 each to applicants accepted to apprenticeship programmes
Category 3: 1 Bursary of €1,000 to applicants pursuing further education as a mature student (Aged 23 as of the 01st of January of the year of the first point of entry into further education.)
- Only applications from active members of the credit union will be accepted. For those looking to join the credit union, please click on the membership tab of our website kilcu.ie for information on eligibility and how to apply for membership.
- In keeping with our sustainability goals, applications are to be submitted by completing an online form available on kilcu.ie
- Applicants will be required to provide evidence of course registration.
- Only one entry per member is permitted.
- The Bursary is not transferrable.
- Credit union officers, volunteers or family members are not eligible to apply.
- Previous bursary winners are not eligible to apply.
- The 5 winning applicants agree to participate in promotional activities such as photo shoots and videos arranged by Kilcock Credit Union and agree to the use of their image and personal data across social media and any press. - The winners will receive their bursary into their Kilcock Credit Union account.
- The Board of Directors of Kilcock reserves the right to alter the terms & conditions and assess the eligibility of the education courses submitted.
- Applications will be selected at random by way of draw conducted by at least 2 members of our credit union management/board.
- The closing date will be clearly outlined on our website and strictly adhered to. Any applications received after this date will not be valid.
