Share Accounts are the most flexible way to save – in branch, by direct debit or online. For members who take out a loan, some shares will need to be held as collateral against a loan.

Free Life Savings Insurance

This is the life insurance cover that we take out for all eligible members as an additional incentive to save regularly and maintain your savings. There is no direct cost to members.

The insurance is paid in addition to the savings you hold at the time of your death. The amount depends on the member’s age, how much you have saved over the years, and other terms and conditions.

Are my savings safe?

Yes. The Deposit Guarantee Scheme protects depositors in the event of a bank, building society or credit union authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland being unable to repay deposits. Deposits up to €100,000 per person per institution are protected under the scheme.

Who can join Kilcock Credit Union?

To become a member you must either: live in, work in, or attend school or college within the common bond, or be a member of the family of, and share the same household as, an existing member of the credit union.

How much can I save?

Save up to €100,000.

Are there any membership fees?

There are no membership fees. however we do charge a joing fee of €1.27. You must keep €10.00 in your account to be an active Member.
